While the average episode of Selling Sunset is just Opp twins discussing hedges and keurig machines, meanwhile on Owning Manhattan you’ve got Ryan Serhant over here living in existential permacrisis and screaming like he’s in Braveheart

Französischer Philosoph, Komplexitätstheorie. Ziemlich abstrakt.
30 Jahre lang interessiert das exakt niemanden.
Dann plötzlich 2023 in Davos: DAS Buzzword. Collins Dictionary 2022: "Permacrisis" = Wort des Jahres.
Warum jetzt?

NHS in permacrisis? Thinktank says: Shrink hospitals, cut beds - save £BILLIONS & fix care!
-> Beds in hospitals in England already 44% less from 180,889 in 1987-88 to 100,916 last month!
-> Radical or reckless?

Rachel Reeves must take bold action to slash the cost of living, rescue our high streets, and start fixing the mess left by Brexit.

That means negotiating a new Customs Union with the EU, to grow our economy and bring in tens of billions for the Exchequer.

It's just daft, if we have an aging population and we do, what of 20 years later? It would just mean we have the same permacrisis, improving what we already have and focusing on adequate staffing is how to sort this out, we can't cut our way out of that.

Dumb conservatives...

A little bit of clean air perhaps, in which case, shorter stays for patients, less staff sickness and less pressure, especially in the winter months, solving the "permacrisis" is a matter of merely listening to science and experts and not think-tanks....
November 23, 2025 at 7:57 PM
"Alexa, show me the thickest idea known to man"

This "think-tank" is yet another RW bollocks peddler, now saying that we should shrink hospitals (after they've already shrank), to solve the "permacrisis"

Um, we already did that, it's why its a mess 🤦‍♂️
