I wrote a script (RectorPHP + command for Blade) to convert enum cases from snake to PascalCase.
When I start a new contract and if they aren't using PascalCase, I just convince them to use PascalCase and run those scripts. 😅

PHP developers, what convention do you use for Enum? 🤔
PascalCase or SNAKE_CASE 👀
I have switched to, or we can say been using, PascalCase for enums for a long time though! 🙌

Posting this here to help others follow hashtags. If you have a hashtag with multiple words, write the hashtag in #PascalCase to help users of screen readers - the screen reader can then read out the words out individually, rather than trying to read them in one long word.

Why is the use of PascalCase (where you capitalise each word) important in a hashtag?
So #LookingAtIt isn't misinterpreted or read by screen readers incorrectly and you don't end up #LookingATit
Always #PascalCase

Your example is PascalCase. CamelCase would be #lookingAtIt
Agreed though - Pascal Case all the way.

Ja, ich finde eben schön dass es uns als "PascalCase" erhalten bleibt, auch wenn die Sprache immer mehr im Hintergrund verschwindet.
Es ist in einer Linie mit kebab-case, camelCase oder Snake_Case.

Apple Notes can evaluate calculations with variables that update as you change them. The variable name has to be “one word,” so usual camelCase or PascalCase will likely do you best.
I realized this while trying to calculate what height TV bench I should get:
The center of the TV should be

The center of the TV should be about eye level, so what height bench should I get given myself and the sofa? Seems around 60cm will be good.

kebab case can and will be used for your URLs
I just did a dive on the different case standards, because camelCase or PascalCase are the most accessible formats for hashtags (which are useful on masto)
snake case, however, will hurt you.

things to avoid:
1. hashtags do not belong in image descriptions unless the image text has a hashtag. every time you use a hashtag, a screen reader says "hashtag". whatever you put after the hashtag is read as a single word. you MUST use #camelCase or #PascalCase to separate the words.

Capitalization affects how people read hashtags or how people hear them on screen readers. Use #camelCase or #PascalCase in hashtags instead of lowercase. You could have #DoctorWhoRewatch ("Doctor Who Rewatch") or #doctorwhorewatch ("doctor whore watch.")

I kinda want to blame unity's naming conventions here because properties in C# usually use the PascalCase naming scheme which makes it more clear. But the points you made are completely valid and I've been tripped up by them before.

Last week I released a major v2 update for my #GameMaker library GMRoomLoader, used for loading room contents at runtime!
It brings massively improved documentation, a revamped demo with an ImGui interface, a full PascalCase API overhaul, and many new features - listed below.

underscores, camelCase, and PascalCase are all good. im an underscore liker but it depends on the context. dashes are acceptable but i feel like there's too many unicode hijinks possible between -, ‐, –, — so i avoid them
