It’s so hard to be optimistic right now. We get our hopes up only to be let down, again. It’s hard to believe Nov 4 was just 7 days ago. I felt that wonderful sense of optimism the next morning. And now here we are. Can’t even imagine what’s going to happen between now and Friday.

It's fucking bleak, I know. I wish I could be blindly optimistic like some of you, but I'm a realist. We have no power here. They don't care what we think or how we vote. They absolutely could not give a single fuck.

The AI companies not investmenting in renewable energy to power the data centers says a lot to me, though. I don't even think they are optimistic about their own sustainability. Esp compared to China's approach to the same issue.

Mori did seem to be working on further expanding the BB-verse at Studio Flare, based on the art he was putting out, but he's been MIA for about a year and SF was last reported as having money troubles so things aren't super optimistic.
