The prototype is 3D printed, and uses a Raspberry Pi to control an RPi HQ cam and the LED array. Basic image analyses are performed on the device using Python to (theoretically) enable near real-time feedback to the excavator interpreting the stratigraphy.

#selfhost adventure of the day, accidentally deleted the SSD trying to learn how to partition from the CLI, luckily had a backup.

Recreated the base image with RPI and now trying rsync (scp was brutal) to send the back up over. Will then try to sync with previous state #opensourcehardware
