In packed carriage, we suddenly stop inbetween Embankment & Westminster.
Driver comes on, says will be a delay whilst an item is removed from the track.
Not the news Dr Anxiety/ Claustrophobia wanted!

Haven't flown since 1999, Eurostar'd since 2016 and haven't done deep Underground tube since 2004.

The #NineElms/#BatterseaPowerStation branch of the #NorthernLine was misconceived from the start. Should have gone to #Vauxhall, then #BatterseaParkStation - where both stations have interchanges for #ClaphamJunction. Huge waste of money duplicating parallel rail service.
