And there were actually 8 #NoKings demos across NYC -- incl. 3 in Queens, one further uptown in Manhattan (with ~1500 people), and 1 each in Bklyn, SI and the Bronx.

I just hope that they all realise that you can't just demonstrate away a fascist once he's in power. You need to organise, sometimes flee, but mostly fight. Cf. the German anti-AfD-Demos.

7/x gute Idee für Bürgerproteste egal wo: #NoKings Protest (irgendwo in den USA) mit vielen Ständen diverser zivilgesell. Organisationen, bei denen sich die Demonstrierenden nebenbei informieren, registrieren und engagieren können. Es braucht ja mehr als Demos!
