I’ve come back to my Blood Warriors for my Khorne AoS Spearhead and have finished all the metals. I do now wish that I had done the metals first and then painted the armour as I’m such a messy painter and I going to have to tidy up all the rest

So nearly there just the bases and a couple of bits and bobs to do and then my Blood Warriors are finished. It’s been quite a learning journey on the Warhammer AoS Spearhead for some reason, the biggest one is to paint all the metals first.

Having a wee break from painting brass on my Khorne Warriors, I so hate painting metals, I’ve paint some of Khorne’s Endless Spells/Prays instead. I’m enjoying painting these and trying to get that blood effect using contrasts.

I’ve made a wee start on my unit couple of units for my 20th Warhammer AoS Spearhead, the Bloodbound Gore Pilgrims for the blades of Khorne. Setting the base colours down for the Blood Warriors and their leader, a Slaughterpriest.

I’ve finished my Bloodreavers for my Blade of Khorne Warhammer AoS Spearhead and I’m rather chuffed with the way they turned out. Painted in the main using contrast paints I’ve gone for the Gorechosen as I love the Khul novels. Next the Blood Warriors.

I’m starting in my 20th AoS Spearhead and it’s the second one from the Blades of Khorne the Bloodbound Gore Pilgrims. I’m starting with the Bloodreavers from the band and enjoying painting them, especially the flesh. Still a way to go but taking shape.

I’ve finished my Bloodthrister of Unfettered Fury and I’m very pleased with it. Mainly painted using contrasts, which work so well on this super detailed beast of a model. Now I’ve got the Khorne groove it’s the first Blades of Khorne Spearhead to paint

My Blades of Khorne Bloodthrister of Unfettered Fury is nearly done. The metals are done, the skins is done, just the highlighting the black horns and the flames to do and then done. I’m really enjoying painting this.

Now I’m starting the part I hate on any model but more so on these larger models and that’s the metals. Got the silvers down and now for the brass. There is so much brass, lol. Start to look good and pull together. Age of Sigmar for the win, lol.

I’ve painted the body of my Bloodthrister and pleased with the results and now I’m working on the armour. Chuffed now I can see it taking form though that’s a ton of work still to on it. He’ll be a great general for my Blades of Khorne

Now the wings are finished, just easier fir me to paint this way, I’m starting on the rest of the body. I’ve painted it purple, yes, but only as the base for the contrast paint, Black Templar, to go over the top of it, as I want a rich dark black.
