Andrew Bragg FFS.

What a dickhead.

Wants to take potshots at Labor over NetZero, climate, energy, environment.

Does he think the #LNPDyingParty can do a better job without any plans, policy or commitment.

🤣🤣🤣
Bullshit.

Dialogue around #netzero is one of ordinary people being unable to afford it. The reality is that 'investing' in net zero yields returns of £37bn a year and growing.

David Speers spending 10 minutes on clickbaiting Andrew Bragg on whether he'll quit the front bench of the #LNP over #NetZero perfectly sums up why #insiders is so fucking unwatchable these days #auspol

If Ley is to be pushed out, she would not have achieved enough, whether as leader or, earlier, as a minister. No one will remember anything she said, or any new idea with which she enthused her colleagues. #auspol #SussanLey #Coalition #NetZero
It’s Ley, or virtually certain Liberal self-immolation
People closer to the action than I are suggesting that the end is nigh for Sussan Ley. They may be right; momentum is often all in these matters.

Liberal strife is really about winning – but not elections
One of the hardest things for people to understand with this latest Liberal Party implosion is that it’s not rational.

Must be the media's job to sow doubt, negativity, anxiety.
Cos they have a running theme with Albanese and his govt.

We've seen a magnet shock in 2025. Is Australia part of the solution?
Anyone who controls the supply of magnets controls the future, and China has been quietly working on this under America's nose for decades. Can Australia muscle in?

Everyone could see doubling down on fossils was the stupidest bet of them all ... Yet, in the UK we're still debating NetZero targets right up there, just under immigration (also stupid) ... and Trump basically belongs to oil interests.

It's not power that corrupts - but the fear of losing power.

The cost of renewables isn’t the problem anymore — it’s grid integration. Even with higher-priced North American solar and battery tech, renewables are outcompeting gas and nuclear. The next frontier? . #GridIntegration #RenewableEnergy #CleanTech #EnergyTransition #NetZero #EnergyMedia

The Nationals should re-brand themselves as the Miners Party. They could then be called MP MPs. Plus their behaviour is so childish, Minors (sic) Party would also be appropriate. 😠 #auspol #NetZero #ClimateAction

Since it was released politicians like Matt Canavan and David Littleproud have pointed to a headline grabbing $7–9 trillion figure from a Net Zero Australia report to claim climate action is too expensive and will cost Australian's trillions.

Oh FFS. That many will say anything.

And he's a danger to us reaching NetZero .

We won't ever get there if the Greens were in charge under his leadership.

They opposed far too much of the necessary steps. They take a far too low level view and ignore the more important big picture.
November 7, 2025 at 10:51 AM
He’s definitely prioritizing “nation building” projects which appears to mean resource extraction, industry, & growth - none of which are compatible with #ClimateAction.

I can’t see Canada getting back on track to meet #NetZero goals. 😣

Here we go.
Don’t care about Lib leadership or what their #netzero policy is. Let’s see where it’s at when there is an actual election. Before then it’s just a distraction.
Australia has shit to do and this doesn’t get it done.
ALP has 94 seats FFS.

Really powerful research here showing just how much the facts around netzero have been distorted….
British public vastly overestimates cost of getting to net zero - by a staggering 14,000%.

On average, they estimate it will need 28% of GDP by 2050, compared to just 0.2%.

We need a National Emergency Briefing❗️

Really enjoyed this gathering

The best bit was, as I said in my talk, the recognition that a #NetZero world can improve our standards of living & wellbeing

Not just by reducing bills, but also by sharing resources and connecting with our communities in ways that build friendship & neighbourliness
Last night was our annual Our Faith Our Planet conference. Speakers shared perspectives from different faiths, read poems, gave updates on eco projects happening across Greater Manchester and delegates even had the opportunity to participate in a quiz!

If #SussanLey doesn't hastily prepare and present a "common sense alternative" to the "craziness of #NetZero" before the party room showdown on November 16, and instead does nothing and makes herself a sitting duck, then her leadership days are over.
