Theoretically they’re a very strong team - four skilled combatants, two of whom have a ton of experience - but Naryana is a neurotic mess, Gwyn is a jerk, Jiaji is crazy, Gamesh can’t fight, and Ea is just kinda clueless

7) After a year or two she decides to try rescue team stuff again, just local jobs
8) Ea offers to be her partner, Gamesh gets roped in too
9) The local ranger Gwyn joins but only bc she likes fighting and bc she has a crush on Naryana

5) Naryana ‘voluntarily’ leaves her clan, Ea suggests she take some time off in Four Pines with him
6) Her mentor Jiaji goes with her bc he’s worried about her and thinks she still has potential as a team leader

The sequence of events is
1) Naryana leads a team of hotshot up-and-coming explorers
2) She meets Ea during this time and they become friends
3) Naryana’s team decides to do a super dangerous dungeon and gets rekt
4) One team member dies and the other two quit

They’re calling it the rescue team of all time
