Is naltrexone busy elsewhere?

Retired substance abuse counselor here. I have always doubted Kennedy’s alleged recovery. Majority of opioid addicts relapse across the lifespan unless treated with methadone, suboxone, or naltrexone. Cabinet nominees should submit to drug testing.

Wow. I wouldn't be surprised if tirzepatide holds its own against naltrexone.

My experience on sema is actually like a mild form of how I've heard naltrexone makes you feel... For me it's all the downsides of booze but very little of the upside/buzz.

Low dose naltrexone was also discussed. I wrote about that here: open.substack.com/pub/colleens...

list of things I'm always recommending to people:

- low dose naltrexone
- switching from methylphenidate to dexamphetamine
- ignoring your doctor about HRT

I just walked for 90min!!?!

Before Low Dose Naltrexone I literally couldn’t walk for 5min (or sit up for 15min). The difference it’s made to my Long Covid is near miraculous…

Talk to your doctor about naltrexone.

Have seen naltrexone work with a number of patients!👍

On what did work for me:

• CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy, you perverts) that I ironically learned not from anyone in a recovery setting, but rather from a failed attempt to quit smoking

• MAT (medication assisted treatment). Naltrexone to be exact. Which was mentioned as an aside for IOP plant
for anyone following me because of my sobriety anniversary post, some ground rules:

• I am a vocal critic of AA. If it worked for you, awesome, but I think we can and should do better for SUD survivors than just defaulting to 12-step programs.

• I do not and have never identified as an "alcoholic"

Listen, y’all can get over the River and through the woods that your insurance plan won’t cover GLP1s. If you’re so determined to try something talk to your doctor about this:
Contrave is a tablet for weight loss but it’s a combination of 2 meds, Bupropion and Naltrexone. Speak with your 1/2

Naltrexone is fucking amazing guys... I've not been this pain free in 3 years

I carried a stack of text books up 2 flights of stairs today and it was only uncomfortable! I even cleaned and scrubbed dishes and countertops and the stove top!!! Yippeeeeeeee

My chronic illness is significantly more tolerable since getting on low-dose naltrexone. If I skip it for even a day or two, the full-body pain comes roaring back, and I think, “I can’t believe I used to live this way every day.” But of course, I only lived that way because I thought I had to. 💙

Die low dose naltrexone dromen zijn behoorlijk bizar. Ik moest naar een adcocaat in een oud gebouw en onder mijn voeten brak de trap af. Dankzij een elegante sprong wist ik mij te redde

It's concerning that one third of the kingdom have completely disappeared down the white rabbit's hole - smoking hate opium with MAGA maggots. We need hate Naltrexone, interventions and rehab to Make England Sane and Sober Again. MESSA

In one recent study, O’Malley found naltrexone to be effective in limiting consumption among college-age drinkers. The drug helped subjects keep from going over the legal threshold for intoxication, a blood alcohol content of 0.08 percent.
