The split and fold trick from the #multiboard folks is a pretty slick way to improve layer orientation.
I've split and glued before or made multipart assemblies to get the "correct" layer orientation, but this seems very cheap and easy to maintain alignment of the split parts […]

It's a tool really, you need a reason to use it. Cosplay helmets are great if you Cosplay but just clutter after a while if you don't. I've been printing tons of Gridfinity storage and might do Multiboard, designed bits and bobs for the house, etc. Need a plate rack? Say no more.

Filament printers have come a long way in the last couple of years. I had an Ender 5 in 2019, it was just okay. We got a Bambu P1S recently and it’s night-and-day. I printed an entire Multiboard wall for my craft hobbies with it.

Lots and lots of multiboard stuff right now so I've just run PLA+ through it so far, but it's handled that like a champ.
Only think I dislike about it is that the fans are loud, but I can live with that and there's probably a fan mod somewhere.

Yeah the mini is cool but the 256mm bed of the regular A1 lets you do things like multiboard panels and such a bit more efficiently.
