Really enjoyed JAY KELLY. Noah Baumbach is so talented as a writer and director. His movies might not work in other hands, but Baumbach always creates such rich characters and really immerses you in their worlds. He and co-writer Emily Mortimer give us a dark, funny, complex, memorable film.

Maddie Mortimer hat mit »Atlas unserer spektakulären Körper» einen Roman geschrieben, der sich in jeglicher Hinsicht vom Gewöhnlichen abhebt. Die Sprache wird hier selbst zum sich bewegenden Organ. Maria Meinels flirrend kreativer Übersetzung merkt man den Aufwand hinter ihrer Leichtfüßigkeit nicht an. Ein Gespräch über die Lust am Retour-Blitzbomben, das Erobern von Landschaften aus Lettern, über »schniefmiefen, schrämen und schamrotschnell schlingern« in einem spektakulären Roman, in dem eine junge Frau nach einer schrecklichen Diagnose sich und das Leben neu entdeckt.

The Skarsgårds are fun, but I'm also kinda in love with Emily Mortimer and her son got lots of praise for White Lotus so I think they're swell.

Yo all its Gotcha Day! Mortimer was such a scarred puppy when I found him 6 years ago. He’s still scared of most things outside but he’s come a REALLY long way and I couldn’t be happier for bringing him home.
