Bleak December, track 6 out of 11 from Set It Off's Duality. I know I know, I'm obsessed with this album, not my fault that every song is a certified banger.

The Party's Crashing Us (Of Montreal's The Sunlandic Twins) and MAYBE LATER DANCE (Jhariah's TRUST CEREMONY) are fantastic also

Montreal's last lesbian bar was kind of cool and should have been preserved in some way by the city. But instead it's slowly decaying in the middle of the Village and I think it's really a shame.

One track from each? You bet.

Montreal's BRICKIE sounds a bit like the best of The Gaslight Anthem. Here's a stunner called "A Planet":

Montreal's is relatively tiny because of the destruction caused by the construction of the Ville-Marie expressway. (Of course, all traffic problems then disappeared.)

The Scarborough RT was Line 3! Montreal's Line 3 was planned then scrapped before building, Ottawa's Line 3 is coming in the next year (or so), but it's really just a service on Line 1 that goes to a different terminus.

The most unrealistic part of Heated Rivalry is Montreal’s hockey team being a real contender.

I’m a lifelong Habs fan. We haven’t won the Stanley Cup since 1993. What a beautiful fantasy.
