has anyone created a Stardew Valley mod where they connected Pelican Town to Mineral Town, Forget-Me-Not Valley and Zephyr Town...

I've only ever heard her name on here and I'm not familiar with her work, but that does seem to be a common consensus.

It seems like it might be useful for them to get on hiring an actual mod team and PR/comms people, assuming the funding exists for it.

Yeah, I ran a trans Discord server for a while, which meant a higher than normal proportion of troubled teens, and sometimes we just had to be like… you’re within bounds, but you’re riling up the rest of them and wasting mod time, come back and try again next week

Again I say: if you're gonna draw mod aggro, don't complain when they nail you with the hammer. Smh troll bushido is truly dead

It's hypocritical and ridiculous and not a way serious people operate. It's Redditor mod behavior

Guess what, that never stopped the Reddit mods either

Todd, Fallout 4 came out over a decade ago. There is no new content in this. None. You just bundled it all together in a new way in order to break all existing mods, and inserted a paid mod system. You are the fucking worst, Todd. I got everything in this bundle for like 15 bucks 5 years ago.

Which reminds me I need to bug the head mod on a discord server to finally put some of the topic bans in one place.

Even when someone says, e.g., "I will come to your house and murder you in real life" it is THE. JOB. to parse unrealistic hyperbole vs. genuine threats (which, btw, real mod teams might even flag for law enforcement)

If you wouldn't call the cops for it, why tf are you deleting accounts over it?

We'll be introducing our mod team over the coming weeks, starting with Sydney, our Head Mod!

Drew his tiddies too gorgeous, scared the mod team

At the risk of stating the obvious, a content moderation strategy that hinges upon individual mod-intitiated conversations with the offending account to determine layers of meaning and intent will start to undergo significant strain somewhere around 10-15 users.

If you can mod it in the Deck, you can mod it in the Cube

As I said, whether you or
I agree with the mod actions in this instance – or with this site’s moderation policies in general – is not the point. Stop acting like marks and learn how pdsls works.

Told you. High-follower accounts of a certain kind have been playing a metagame on social media practically since the day they realised that attention is valuable to them. Screeching about shadow bans and other inexplicable mod actions is probably the original move, in fact.
The account owner was immediately notified of the reason for the content takedown and engaged in a discussion with our moderation team. Our community guidelines prohibit content that threatens or wishes harm to others. 2/2

Anyone that's ever had any experience with running a forum or something similar or even just spent some time hanging out in places like that knows that this is the iron clad poster/mod agreement. Anyone that's saying otherwise didn't post or they were THAT PERSON.

I've eaten a suspension while being a mod, and remained a mod. Sometimes, you discover which words aren't caught by the profanity filter the hard way.

People On Here treat suspensions they've been banished for life to St Helena. Quite bitching and serve your time.

One would think that the mod team would know who Sarah Kendizor was and could easily ascertain whether she was serious or not.

She's probably one of the top 200 accounts on bluesky.

Comparing her to @skullfucker69 threatening to chop off someone's head is a bit of a stretch.

they can’t even put me on the correct mod list
November 12, 2025 at 7:54 PM
many of us have been saying this !! consistently! for years!

socially shaming / shunning people for their behavior will always be 10000x more effective than asking mommy mod and daddy government to protect you.
Once again, content moderation is a trap, and it is a lazy proxy for what actually regulates society, which is behavior moderation.

You know, some ideas are better left in dreams.

My mod is an example of this.

enjoying how people defending Sarah Kendzior and people vilifying Sarah Kendzior both feel vindicated by the exact same bsky mod post

Also it’s a nightmare from a mod standpoint bc the bigger your user base the more edge cases (“I could just kill so and so for that”) and then the mod system gets overloaded and your choices are a) ban everybody every time you turn around or b) give up on having rules. Specificity is your friend!
