also: if *i* was able to freely access therapy, counselling, etc, without my abusive dad finding out as i was a minor, i mightve coped better or felt more comfortable reporting it!

Sarina Bowen's series starting with The New Guy is a spinoff of a m/f series but they're pretty decent; more angst as they go along. Avon Gale has a good series (staring with Breakaway) about minor leaguers trying to get to the majors. Ari Baran's good at angst, definitely.

I agree with your point, but where are you getting "more loyal, more committed" from? Looking at exit polls, 57% of white voters voted for Trump in 2016, 58% in 2020, and 57% in 2024.
It's shameful that white voting % didn't go down after seeing how terrible Trump is, but at least it didn't go up.
