A friend recently gave me a stack of game discs for some consoles, and there was also 5 sealed MiniDiscs, because I couldn't see what type they were I had to open one up, amd the problem now is that I can't test the discs because I don't own a recorder lol.

The minidisc is nice and blank discs are still pretty available. Granted, you’re likely going to be importing the minidiscs from Japan and you’ll get slapped with import tariffs on them.
It would still be great to have. Minidiscs are still my favorite physical media.

it's really charming that the music format in moon remix rpg is called "MD" ("moon disc"s, but inspired by minidisc), look/function like CDs, and are distributed in vinyl sleeves..... like a fusion of 3 cool music formats... a better world is possible

Today I really feel like recording a few cassettes and MiniDiscs. I’m flexible with the sources: vinyl and Apple Music, both running through the mixing console into the tape deck. I think this will make a nice mixtape.

On dirait que leur timing est toujours off.. Le MiniDisc est arrivé quand les MP3 players ont pris leur envol. Le UMD a pas mal subi le même sort.. au moment où Netflix et les downloads ont explosés.
