Yes. I realize that Mothra starts out as a giant caterpillar and not a millipede but when has science ever stopped a Kaiju film?

Also, I found a slug sliming around my bathroom sink here in Northern California. Yesterday, I found a millipede on the bathroom floor…. It’s been very WET. I don’t know what that has to do with it. But had to think of you and your millipedes in the basement. 😱

Arthropleura has been known about for a long time, from both fossils and tracks. What was unknown was the head, until now. A recent find (maybe not the one described here) shows the head had both millipede and centipede traits, making it a true stem specimen.
