I had a hard time picking which version to put in current, design and all time. I'm so sorry I left out Winter Kacchan. 💔(and Mermtsuki is, like, gnawing ferociously on my fingers because he was excluded.)
A template named "Draw a Character you like" with 6 frames, but there's Bakugo Katsuki in each of them, and each Katsuki is seen from the front, but only half his face, neck and part of his shoulder is shown. "Current Favourite" has him as a pro hero, with the scar on his face and apparently no clothes. "Comfort Character" is a chibi, or plus version of him. "By Design" has Steampunk Bakugo with his cheek covered in sooth, and grinning happily. "By plot" **SPOILER** shows Katsuki in his final moments from chapter 403, covered in blood and whispering Izuku's name **END SPOILER** "Guilty favourite" shows the version of Katsuki from the back cover of Volume 40, which the fanartist personally calls "Desert Rose". Like on the back cover, he's still while the wind blows fabric around him. "All time favourite" shows Fantasy Bakugo licking blood from his sword.

(honestly though, Mermtsuki is mostly incensed because when he climbed the rocks in the previous part, Mermku got his beautiful little tail and arms all covered in cuts 💔)

Hands too busy gripping the rocks so he doesn't tumble down the cliff, Mermtsuki had to make do with using his mouth instead to teach Deku a lesson lol

Chibi Mermku is sitting on the jagged searocks above the Ocean. Chibi Mermtsuki has climbed up to him and is chewing on Mermku's cheek, in retaliation for something. Mermku is cutely stressed and flushed and whining, whereas Mermtsuki is angry like a demon. We can see the sea, the sky and huge fluffy clouds in the distance behind them, coloured in soft pastels.

I've got 2 possible explanation for this one.👀
Either some villain managed to snatch Mermtsuki; or he kept visiting the surface and Mermku (having eavesdropped something) convinced himself that he was about to leave for good with his new human friend

A sketched manga page, split vertically into two frames. In the first panel, Mermku is peering over some jagged sea rocks, flushed, distraught and with tears overflowing his wide, desperate eyes. He's probably dragged himself up there to catch a glimpse of the ocean below. He's crying: "Kacchan! KACCHAN! ...Please give me my Kacchan back to me!". In the second panel, we see Mermtsuki as Mermku might be seeing him: looking up at him from the water, half hidden by jagged rocks. He looks shocked by Mermku's distress, and completely flushed. We can see his chest and he's missing one of his necklaces - the one he gave Human Deku in the previous post. He's murmuring a soft "...Izuku..." in clear shock.

Expectations: breaking majestically through the waves, a sleek perfect glide, light catching his scales in a glorious flash of fiery orange.

Reality: the waves were really violent that day (almost as though there were explosions?!) and he got tossed on the beach.

Chibi Mermtsuki is telling Chibi Mermku how his foray to the surface went. He's blushing visibly and thinking about Human Deku, as we can guess by the big image of him floating behind his head. The image in question is actually a crop up of a nice official art of Deku smiling and reaching out his hand. Mermtsuki is in a defensive pose: his arms are crossed and he's looking away, so disgruntled that it's adorable. There are bubbles around him, since they're underwater, but if you look closely some of them have the shape of little hearts, to further emphasise how besotted he is. On the other hand, Chibi Mermku is literally green with jealousy. There's a green aura around him, and green sparks dance around him, almost as if he's been able to summon OFA. Only one eye is visible, and it's huge and aglow with emotion. He looks ready to throw down the gauntlet and challenge the human who DARED pique the interest and affections of HIS Mermtsuki.
