Some screenshots of the battle UI from Stories 3 from the Nintendo Direct; I like how it’s even more stylized after the mainline games. And is that a stamina bar underneath the party’s health bars? And what are those icons underneath Magnamalo’s health bar (besides the obvious Paralysis icon)?
Battle UI for Monster Hunter Stories 3, showing the male player character “Leo”, Ratha, a new party member named Thea, and her Monstie Kagachi the Tobi-Kadachi fighting a Magnamalo. Here, it’s being targeted, with its Forelegs, Back, and Tail being possible parts to break, with the a note on the forelegs being “Hellfireblight”. There is also a Multibreak Transformation and Wyvernsoul Damage indicator, which we do not know what these mean yet. Magnamalo’s forelegs take more damage from Piercing attacks. A red orb icon is underneath Magnamalo’s health bar, along with seven blue orbs in a dragon-shaped bar with the head pointed towards the orb and the last orb near its tail being depleted; we do not know what these mean yet either. On the player side of things, Ratha is going to use Venom Strike, Thea is going to use Defense Down Coating with her Bow, and Kagachi is going to use Thunderball on Magnamalo. Ratha is targeting the back, while the other two are targeting the tail. All four characters appear to have both a health bar and a stamina bar, something new to the Stories games. The player character is using a hunting horn and is going to use Soothing Song The same UI as before but without the Part targeting wheel. To those wondering why: the mh icons are fun enough but do not vary enough for it to be enriching to my little lizard brain. For a while they felt like a constant like brain stretcher but now they’re just boring tbh

So im ready to move on!
The last batches will be great rest assured, but yeah !

I think ive said it before but for those who missed it, they are going to be gone after my queue is cleaned out

I've always been a fan of the Monster Hunter icons, but it was only a few months ago that I got to try it by playing MH Stories 2, and I then decided to try drawing my fursona in that art style!
