After some time, she and Hot Rod became very close and eventually formed a romantic relationship, to the mixed (though supportive) opinions of the rest of team. Their relationship continued even after Hot Rod became Rodimus Prime, though it became noticeably more private after he inherited the matrix. She worries for his mental health with the burden of leadership; a concern she voices often.
