There's no way Rolan, an apprentice, would be able to keep Ramazith from another power hungry wizard, so Ares swallows a rant he's given to his apprentice Giselle for years and takes over as the Archmage of Baldur's Gate. A title Lorroakan might never have held if he'd done it sooner, Giselle notes.

It becomes more like siblings. They fight and disagree often, but Tanis is the first and loudest person to defend him now, too. They’d never admit it out loud? but they see a bit of themself in Gale. The one that loved reading about magic, that had big dreams and got swept up by Lorroakan.

It’s a little intentional and a little not! I wanted their story to at its core be a coming out story, realizing who they are and breaking away from something controlling and making them perform a gender that isn’t theirs. Lorroakan and Minsc’s appearances weren’t in the thought chamber at the time

I don't know if it was intentional when you were creating Tanis' lore, but it's neat how they went from having elaborately done hair while they were miserable with Lorroakan (who also has long and meticulously groomed hair), to having shorter hair & being much happier with Minsc (who is bald)

Tanis is actually quite good at braiding and styling hair. They had very long elaborately done hair when dating Lorroakan. They prefer the short messy shag on themself nowadays but are more than happy to braid other people’s hair if they ask.

I had no idea you could go downstairs in ramazith tower 😮 and there’s an entrance to the vault, AND there’s extra loot. I’m an idiot 😭 hahaha (I love finding new things in every bg3 run )
