It's time. The Logseq vault has begun.

Asking the hive mind: What do we know or recommend about using tools such as #logseq or #obsidian all along with #NextCloud or #Koofr? I'd basically like to sync notes between Android and Linux desktop and have read mixed statements on that.
Boosts welcome.

Cool, thanks. Will follow up on that and see how far I get. Have already tried some of the options mentioned; so far logseq and obsidian seem closest to what I want feature-wise but that sync thing is still a missing piece.🙈

Undi, no sé si conoces logseq.

I quite enjoy Obsidian because it has a large community (plenty of plugins, support, etc.)

Though I haven't really used Logseq, so if you're really curious I'd give both a try just to see which you like better. You'll never know if you like it better until you try it.

I like obsidian. Alternatives could be Joplin if you like something similar to obsidian and fully open source. Logseq might be good? I haven't tested it yet.

i should start a video series about me trying and failing to use various note taking / personal knowledge management methods

🩸 wow this is really hot actually. i am slowly getting there in logseq

In just the last hour I've had Claude Code teach itself how to use both the Logseq CLI and the Zotero local API and save that knowledge as a "skill" so it can be referenced whenever I need it!

I have for several years been obsessed with so-called PKM tools -- it's what I play with instead of Being Productive -- and I think I've finally found an actual long-term winner with the db version of logseq (which is still not formally released).

I bounced on Logseq for day task journaling. Now using the Todolist plugin on #TiddlyWiki, which has interstitial and task-based modes and allows me to take it anywhere, now that I finally figured out a comfortable way to run my local TiddlyWiki server.

logseq mogs

oh wow logseq seems to be very similarly structured to my stupid little plugin

First off: I'll be dumping these notes locally into LogSeq, Second Brain/Zettelkasten note taking app that's FOSS:

people complaining about atproto / skylight development speed clearly aren’t logseq users cuz y’all i been waiting on this new version for years
