Another photo taken during my recent visit to Fawsley for #OnePlaceWednesday! With the cost of wills from Probate Search due to skyrocket next week (from £1.50 to £16 each) I've been ordering more wills relating to my Waters Upton #OnePlaceStudy people. 35 so far with more to be ordered.

This will be fascinating. Joan Alleyn, nee Woodward, is an under-researched figure in early modern theatre. Woodwarde Rd in Dulwich is named for her (not sure why it has an E at the end). #LocalHistory

In 1900 the Victoria Pier in Colwyn Bay reached completion with a pavilion able to accommodate 2,500 people. Jules Riviere and his orchestra were secured to perform for the opening season of the pier. #colwynbay #northwales #wales #localhistory #orchestras #seasideentertainment

Sutton, #London

A wall mosaic of 1994, by mosaic artists Rob Turner and Gary Drostle. Hand cut and laid by hand by the two artists.

It shows scenes from #localhistory, such as, in the centre, the #Tudor Nonsuch Palace of Henry VIII.
