One factor of this that is convenient for almost nobody is that Zionism also historically had a huge Socialist faction. A lot of early Zionists were literal Communists. Zionism exists in the context of mid-century Leftist movements as much as anything.

The disconnect here is that Islamoleftism is not exactly a real philosophy but a synthesis of people like Corbyn who want to just say "my country is evil and mean" over and over again, and actual Islamists who are merely parroting leftist rhetoric when it's convenient.
