Kosovo’s Defense Minister Ejup Maqedonci has been inducted into the Hall of Fame of the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College.

The ceremony was held at Fort Leavenworth, where his portrait was unveiled and he received a certificate of honor.

EU envoy Peter Sørensen hopes Kosovo and Serbia will return to dialogue talks in 2026 after a year with no meetings.

He expects the quick formation of Kosovo’s Assembly and a new government.

Sørensen said the EU aims to bring both sides to the table and move the process forward.

President Vjosa Osmani told EU envoy Peter Sorensen said the Kosovo–Serbia dialogue can succeed only with equal treatment of both parties.

She accused Serbia of violating agreements and undermining Kosovo’s sovereignty.

Osmani called for stronger EU engagement and progress toward candidate status.

Kosovo’s GDP has grown from €5.6 billion in 2015 to €11.1 billion today.

The year 2025 ended with 3.9% economic growth.

The Central Bank forecasts 4.1% growth for this year.

Growth is expected to be driven by private consumption, a gradual recovery in exports and easing inflation.
