Most of these signs have many possible causes but if they don’t go away, get checked out. Early diagnosis is key. #PEComa is rare. But people living with it deserve answers, treatment, and support. Don’t ignore strange symptoms. You deserve to be heard.

Kamil of the Polish Sarcoma and Melanoma Patients Association was lucky. His doctor immediately recognized the warning signs in his x-ray, and referred him to an oncologist straight away. He was diagnosed with sarcoma 2 weeks later.

LMS begins in smooth-muscle tissue, often in the uterus, abdomen, or limbs. Common symptoms include vague pain/fullness, a lump, heavy menstrual flow or other bleeding. #KnowYourNormal: If something feels off, ask for imaging + a referral to a sarcoma specialist.

Dr. Mitch of National Leiomyosarcoma Foundation was having a normal day until the sudden onset of his symptoms after working out. A rush to the ER led to a biopsy that revealed #leiomyosarcoma. You #KnowYourNormal, if something is wrong don't brush it off. Get it checked!

Know Your Normal | Ambitious about Autism
What is Know Your Normal? In 2017 the Youth Council and myVoice volunteers unanimously decided that they wanted to run a campaign around mental health. The Know Your Normal campaign aims to reduce the stigma around mental health and create resources for autistic young people to work out and understand what their normal is.
