Quería cambiar de teclado porque con el último parecía que tecleaba con la próstata. Y apareció el Keychron K2 HE que de primeras me flipó porque hacía macht total con mi escritorio.
Y es otro mundo. Muy contento.

Drinking yuzu sake and trying to install Debian on my 2018 Intel MBP, but struggling to either get the discrete GPU to run without crashing OR to use the integrated GPU. So far I've added the t2 kernel and extracted firmware from a recovery image, so it is time to install xfce4 and see what happens.

my keychron has been very solid once I worked out the initial kinks (something like 10 random keys died after about 2 weeks of use - luckily the kind-of-fly-by-night keychron canada mailed me a ton of new switches when I complained to them so all I had to do was replace them as they died lol)

I'm in the market for a new keyboard. TKL, excellent build quality, and open firmware. I've heard decent things about Keychron, but this on their homepage is just embarrassing.

I also sort of hated the magic keyboard, so switched to a Keychron mechanical... and also hate it? For one, afaik, all non-apple keyboards have a lag on waking up from sleep, which is very annoying. Now I fantasize about switching back

Got my Keychron Q6 Max in the mail today. Much quieter typing than expected, feels really nice too. Also, sucker's heavy at just about 5 lbs.

Keychron is such a weird company but honesty if i was gonna go with a split space unibody I’d probably do something like this and aggressively remap it. Haven’t tried it but it’s QMK.

Got my long boy keyboard (Keychron B6) today! I even love how it was packed. But got my first Hallowe’en scare 👻 while setting it up. Didn’t know about Ctrl Lock and I thought I’d somehow managed to break this keyboard AND my laptop keyboard at the same time. 😭 Double-tapping the Ctrl fixed it. 😮💨
