One benefit of making the postal service taxpayer-funded again is that they wouldn't rely on endless junkmail and advertisements to cover operation costs.

The US Postal Service gets treated like a business, but at the end of the day it's a government service. It'll never happen under this administration, but it seems like we're due for a discussion about the USPS becoming a taxpayer-funded agency once again.

I get so many emails and junkmail asking me if I want to access the equity in my home. More this last year than ever before. Some of them act like it's free money and they would be doing me such a big favor, not that they just want to make money off me and charge me a higher interest rate.
