there's still so many jmovies i watched that are sooo good like linda linda linda, moving, za'ne, kairo, occult, audition, still walking, and many many moreee by kore-eda, kiyoshi kurosawa, koji shiraishi, and shunji iwai. last yr really was my intro to the popular and some of the best jp directors

I think in recent Kdramas (not the romantic over exaggerated ones, but rather the more serious ones) the actors are more natural as well as movies.
The same can be said about some Jdramas and most movies, which is why I prefer Jmovies.
But it's my personal preference.

I'm Momo and feel in love with Japanese culture in 1988 with the original Shogun series. Unfortunately i couldn't find anything to watch, so I settled with Jmovies in TV. Only around 2011 when i was fed up with American movies and series i managed to find Asian movies on free streaming sites.

so i bothered waste my time on faceless\shotai movie, and wowow drama is indeed better(btw it was filmed by the ring guy). fujii is simply not a director, but guy who pretends he is - literally couldn't tell a story to save his life.
