Day 5 of the #IrishBookWeekChallenge: Share an Irish book that you bought in a local bookshop. Does my own shop count? Our last book club read, Thirst Trap, by Gráinne O'Hare. Did you know book clubs get 20% off on more than 4 copies at Bridge Books? (Shameless advertising 🙈)

Day 3 of the #IrishBookWeekChallenge: An Irish Debut Book. It has to be the superb Nesting by Roisín O'Donnell. I can not recommend this book highly enough. If you've been to the shop, I've likely tried to make you buy it! It will be hard to beat as my book of the year.

Day 1 of #IrishBookWeekChallenge and, as it would be in poor taste to choose myself (or would it?), I'm highlighting @bookspapersciss.bsky.social on Stranmillis in Belfast! Spacious and elegant, it's everything Bridge Books isn't 🙈.

Day 7 #IrishBookWeekChallenge: Share an Irish book you are going to read next.
This one is all on Wee Alan, who chose it as our book club read for November. It's not my usual genre, but I'll give it a go!

Day 8 #IrishBookWeekChallenge (yes, @lwestwoodauthor.bsky.social, 8 days in our week)
Share an Irish book you discovered at a book event. I'm having to bend the rule today as, obvs, I knew this book already, but after listening to Wendy speak on Monday night, I can't wait to start The Benfactors!
