Also crops like lettuce, broccoli, cabbage, etc. benefit tremendously from partial shade in warmer weather, so intercropping w/panels actually makes it possible to grow those crops during months when it would otherwise be too warm & dedicated shade structures are prohibitively expensive.

Im Bioanbau gibt es inzwischen erprobte Methoden, Flächen effizienter zu nutzen. Mischkulturen sind zwar arbeitsintensiver, aber auch ertragreicher. Intercropping verbessert sogar die Qualität. Eine Kollege von mir hat das in Canada praktiziert.
