This is a must-read for anyone in academia. While it focuses on administrative positions in certain parts, it's such an excellent resource with stats and critiques of all the indigenization/reconciliation rhetoric that it's got something for everyone. Highly recommend.

It is also worth noting the history of Kalaallit Nunaat and Denmark is not dissimilar to that of Nunavut and Canada (including similar timelines of colonial policy eventually transitioning to home rule/autonomous status and re-indigenization

Neither Biden nor future Trump admin get the failure of India's defense indigenization efforts can be a National Security crisis for the U.S. because it undermines Indian deterrence against China. That in turn can (a) allow China to focus on Taiwan and (b) push India to accommodate China's demands.

🇺🇦Wild Hornet's Queen Hornets are multirole heavy drones. Largely made in Ukraine.

A university that chooses to invest in weapons companies & businesses operating in illegal settlements w/in an apartheid state cannot, at the same time, say that it's committed to Indigenization & decolonization. No amount of moral & intellectual reasoning can overcome the glaring contradiction.
