#ImmuneMemory
Get vaccinated!

"So 10 to 20 percent of people infected with #Measles have the #ImmuneMemory of other infections or vaccinations wiped out, Elledge says. That may leave them vulnerable to illnesses in the future even if they were previously infected or vaccinated against bacteria and viruses."

#Measles infection *can* kill, but it also does this insidious thing where it makes your immune system forget how to fight other infections — for as long as three years. That’s always a bad thing, but worse in our #pandemic times.
