However, due to only IHS
(Indian Health Service) throught BIA/Dept of Interior it is a collasal fight to get her seen between that & blatant racism in town.

Actually the news was that all pharma companies are leaving and UK is struggling to recruit scientists due to the high visa costs for talent! What incentive should I scientist have to come to UK and waste 5000 pounds in visa and IHS with no certainty about the future?

Yes. If they decide to apply to people already here I suspect there's going to be some lawsuits. But I also suspect it will affect the NHS less than other skilled worker visas if they continue to give them a pass on the IHS fees, which is what really makes it expensive.

His first degree, like mine, was in IHS. Mine stood for Interdisciplinary Human Studies, his was in I Helped Sam (obviously a First Class Hons).
