Yesterday, we closed the #IEVilnius2025 with conversations on connection, resilience, and the future of our movement. The closing plenary & gala celebrated everything we built together this week. The strategies, friendships, and shared courage will carry us forward long after we leave Vilnius.

Yesterday, the #IEVilnius2025 began with our connecting spaces, creating moments of reflection, solidarity and care. In the evening, we came together for the opening reception, celebrating reconnection and collective strength as activists, organisers and allies to begin this year’s journey together.

I reiterated my 10-Point renewed pledge to stand with LGBTI people, challenge repressive laws, and advocate for civil society and funding. Hope is a duty. We must never stop struggling for a world where everyone is free and equal in dignity and rights. #IEVilnius2025

The situation is nothing short of dire. In my #IEVilnius2025 speech today, I addressed the ‘perfect storm’ facing #LGBTI people, including rising populism and a weakening political centre ground. Now is the time for fierce determination.
