Sorry, but I find this to be disturbing. Women are more than being a wife, mother, and homemaker.

of their exchanges span the globe

Is Esptein's a New York story? to a certain extent, absolutely -- the son of a NYC Parks department grounds crewman and homemaker who, by somewhat mysterious and quite possibly nefarious means clawed his way out of Brooklyn into the world of high finance

Dear ladies!

Don’t let anyone (religious or not) convince you that your purpose in life is to breed, serve & obey.

You’re not obliged to breed, or play the ‘sexy homemaker.’

Women are every bit as clever and as capable as men!

Your life is yours.

Be whatever YOU want to be! 🏋️‍♀️💃👩‍🎓👩‍⚕️🧡

That commenter should go poll some old ladies who grew up in the shadow of the Great Depression on their opinions of her canning habits. She’ll get hit by more than a few canes.

I know these idiots have convinced themselves bacteria is fake or whatever, but food spoilage is basic homemaker stuff.

A new art for today’s homemaker

“Chose not to work” Homemaker is work. Raising children is work whether he values it or not.

baby, you want a homemaker? a trad wifey?

okay babes no problem, you need to make more than enough for both of us plus a home, 2-3 kids, and a dog and you also need to go off to war for 7-10 years while I vaccum on quaaludes each day and fuck the mailman.

had a moment of homemaker clownery this afternoon when i went to williams sonoma to check out a le creuset cassadou in person, but they have an exclusive le creuset pan that’s quite similar so of course they don’t have the cassadou. i am very relatable

(she's heavily based off of my own self, a stay at home mom/homemaker, retired after 20 years in electrical engineering...

Ok I SAY retired, but genuinely it's I'm disabled these days... Anyway... Yeah)

Kaelith would probably handle it best, but she doesn't exist before the end of 6.0, so...🧵)

Due to Medicaid reductions, people who care for their elderly and disabled family members will now either do so for free half of the time or only go to work half the hours.

This puts our most vulnerable citizens at direct risk of neglect and abuse.

He was middle class growing up. His mother was a school aide and homemaker, and his father was a groundskeeper and gardener for the New York City Department of Parks and Recreation.

This year’s Walmart Thanksgiving dinner is 25% cheaper than last year. It contains 50% fewer items. This is a loss of 25% purchasing power.

This is basic homemaker math- why is the President touting this as a sign of affordability?

I have absolutely zero skill with cake decorating, so these cupcakes are not gonna be pretty, but they’ll be yummy! I am not and will never be the traditional “homemaker” type, I’m a boss bitch, after all 🤣 but it’s the inside that counts anyways!

Conservatives understand virtue signalling when it's a tradwife tiktok grifter saying the best thing women can be is a silent subservient homemaker, or when the army gets to do a little parade before a football game.

When they complain, it's the specific virtues they object to not the signalling.

I was harassed at work over and over. When I got a chance to leave and become a full time homemaker I grabbed it. But I often wonder what I might have done if I hadn’t faced such difficulties.

Barrett has 7 kids like her parents did and is a lawyer like her dad rather than a teacher/homemaker like her mom. She’s criticized because she’s making that path harder for others, not because she has a large family like the one she grew up in. That’s reactionary hypocrisy, not countercultural.
November 7, 2025 at 7:01 PM
When I was a kid I didn’t get that “homemaker” was a euphemism for stay at home parent, so I thought a lot of Christian moms were working as some kind of small scale architect that designed single family houses.

Our gender coding is ridiculous

Want hobbies where people make stuff? Be sure to define which panty content gets to do what craft!
Sneer/laugh if they don't comply!

Want a "capable partner" to build a life with? Nooo, say "provider💪♂️" & "homemaker🧸♀️"

& confuse descriptive with prescriptive

Trans women can get pregnant now. Science has come so far from the infant stages. Won't be long before I get to knock you up like a barefoot homemaker in the 1950s and fill you up with so much seed your eggs will be scrambled with baby juice.

My mom was a homemaker and a teacher, because for most of Canadian history, society delegated women as homemakers and caretakers. Even in my family, I saw this labour rarely appreciated.
And I've also seen women get criticized for working full-time instead of homemaking.
