First term of the Summer Institute @lsa2025uo.bsky.social has come to an end 🎓. We look forward to the second term now! Great to be co-teaching #HistoricalSociolinguistics with Mark Lauersdorf, on behalf of #NARNiHS. It's been really good fun!

Our paper combines #HistoricalSociolinguistics with #ConstructionGrammar, analysing the role of gender in the productivity of the cx. While men use a greater number of different verbs in the cx, women lead the host-class expansion, so they might have different representations of the cx over time.
