TEXAS HISTORIC HEAT
Among the most important records we can name 92F at Wichita Falls and 90F at Lubbock,highest temperatures ever recorded in November.

Zero cold records for early November in USA (daily say nothing) while SEVERAL monthly heat records (including Denver,Amarillo etc)
96F at Rio Grande TX ,heat returns in Texas but it will get far hotter next week.

The most exceptional thing so far is we are at mid November and so far the max. temperature in USA never failed to reach at least 94F any day since last spring.

In New South Wales max. temperatures yesterday >35C and today tropical nights in some areas.
In fact, the minimum of 20.4C at Mount Seaview is the highest ever recorded in October.

CHINA BRUTAL HEAT WAVE Another 38C day
Today, 41 stations across China broke October records (20 Tmax & 21 Tmin), with Qianshan, Jiangxi, recording the highest temperature in China at 38.2C.
Record also in Fuzhou.
The heat wave is expected to pea tomorrow with highs potentially approaching 40C!

Nearly the entire Northern Pacific is experiencing a strong marine heat wave, with record warmth in Japan and abnormally warm waters stretching all the way to the North American coastline.

This much extra warmth in a large ocean basin is very rare.

It's hard to overstate just how off the charts warm the Pacific is right now. The swath of the basin from California to Japan (a HUGE area) from 25N to 60N is ~3F (1.6C) above normal. To put it into math terms that is 6 Sigma/ standard deviations above the mean. More… 1/

Another scorching day between British Columbia and Washington with temperatures up to 102F/39C.
