Universal superionic conduction via solid dissociation of salts in van der Waals materials - Nature Energy
Conventional solid-state electrolyte design is limited by dopant–lattice compatibility. This work introduces solid dissociation, using halide van der Waals materials to dissolve salts and create amorphous conductors with high ionic conductivity and potential for use in devices.

Shooting using Halide with Process Zero is so vastly better than the iPhone's overcooked default image processing that it's crazy. I've realized that the reason I haven't liked taking phone pics is mostly because of how wildly overboard phones go with image processing by default.

Metal halide bulbs had a tendency to......turn different colors as they aged. It wasn't uncommon to see ones go from the typical purplish white to straight up pink, green, or blue. Used to stare at the bulbs in the old mall cuz it was always a rainbow.
Anybody else weirdly nostalgic for those old metal halide warehouse high bay lights you used to see in places like Walmart and Home Depot before they all switched to LED low bay lighting?
