In this context, cleaner vehicle emission standards, enforcement of speed limits or new pedestrian crossings can get framed as an imposition on people who drive, rather than as helpful measures to improve our health and reduce the numbers of people killed and injured on our roads.

I miss Halisky’s Pandemic Christmas Tree. Let’s do it again!!
A beautifully lit large tree that No a Scotia sends to Boston every year to commemorate that’s city support after the Halifax Explosion. Beside it, we see a large lit tree in downtown Halifax that looks like the lifts were sot onto it with a t-shirt cannon. It’s spectacularly ugly and I loved it. 🎄 The horrifyingly lit unmitigated mess of Halifax’s downtown Christmas Tree a meme, drawn on antenna, googly eyes and a mouth. Looks just like one of the Sesame Street Martians. Cracks me rtf up. 🎄😆

Today's #KidicalMassHFX ride in #HaliSky's north end was the best attended ride so far! This image doesn't capture the full scale of participation. Overheard 2 of the older kids saying "wow those kids on balance bikes are fast!" which made me chuckle. So much #BikeJoy in #BikeHFX on these rides 😍
