Earliest hyperfixation I can recall would probably be... Pokemon. A hyperfixation that still comes and goes.
I started on Pokemon LeafGreen on my GameboySP. I skipped over a couple Gens to SoulSilver cause I didnt know it was a running series, but I've played all the main games since.
