Internet freedom declined for the 14th year in a row as a rapid series of elections reshaped the global information environment.

Of the 72 countries covered by #FreedomOnTheNet, 27 saw their scores decline and just 18 registered gains.

Cuba is the country with the worst record of internet censorship in LatAm. In Cuba, connectivity is restricted, websites and social media are blocked, VPNs are also blocked, and content is removed.
Venezuela is the 2nd country in internet censorship in LatAm. #FreedomOnTheNet
