My 9yo daughter is 31% of the way through 8th grade math. As she said, she is nearly a third of the way through the course. She is 68% of the way through high school physics. She is currently trying to decide between chemistry and biology next.

My daughter just turned 9. She’s 16% through 8th-grade math, studying high school physics, and philosophy. She recently argued that people shouldn’t think of punishment as good; it impoverishes everyone, not just the punished. I’m so proud.

She’s caught up in math to where she already was in reading, science, philosophy, and history. She’s also doing the new chess course on Duolingo and declared herself a chess nerd now. 🧠♟️
