🌱 I'm still sick. Just a cold, but I'm miserable. Perfect time to watch vids about fossils while I sort new seeds! I'm not sure why I got SO MANY VARIETIES of a few, but I'm gonna give it a go... 😂
A sample:
7 🍅
8 squashes
5 lettuces
3 🥒

“Coral fossils are love letters written in carbonate. They tell us how hard life tried to stay.”

Our new Revelator piece imagines a not-too-distant future we can still avoid — if we choose differently now. Read it, share it, and help bend the plot to a more hopeful narrative.

More of this, please! Get those fossils out of office!
BREAKING: Jack Schlossberg, the grandson of Pres. JFK, just announced that he'll run in the crowded Democratic primary to replace retiring Congressman Nadler in NY's 12th Congressional District.

Schlossberg, 32, is best known as a social-media political commentator weighing in on national issues.

Nobody under 60. But because I must profile as a Boomer, I still get fundraising texts from James Carville, as if Skeletor is going to fire me up.

I'm hoping both of those irrelevant fossils are on the Epstein list so they can all go away for good.

Part of it, alas, is that requires retooling departments to have more than ONE hydrologist/hydrogeologist and might even require some overlap with (GASP! SPUTTER!) biology! (Somehow fossils don't "count").

I was one of the Weird Ones in my grad dept for knowing anything AT ALL about soils/plants.

I remember that idiot on YouTube claiming all the dinosaur fossils were pottery shards

Did a couple of Parasaurolophus Xenos today. Started with the small one, then decided to look at the actual fossils. I like the second (larger one) much better.

While some have become fossils, like any and all pokemon, there’s no need to ‘revive’ a fossil to see them, but it’s not ideal to come across them

It seems Donkey Kong can climb to the top of any game or computer system - and even the TI 99/4a wasn't immune. Phosphor Dot Fossils can't go wrong with #DonkeyKong (other than that pesky elusive "winning" thing). #retrogaming www.youtube.com/watch?v=el5d...

WHY WON'T SHE JUST DIE ALREADY???
I SWEAR I'VE DUG UP FAUNA FOSSILS YOUNGER THAN HER.
I’m loving this for her.

Yeah apparently some of the fossils they thought were T Rex’s were actually a different Dino and they only recently got official confirmation because someone found a fossil that confirmed the suspicion
November 12, 2025 at 11:34 PM
Quasi-related: when I was little, 'young earth' Christians argued that dinosaur fossils were all faked ... or maybe that G-d put the fossils there when creating the earth 6000 years ago.

For the first time in Australia’s history, more than 50% of our power comes from renewables. Just as we achieve this tremendous milestone, the LNP demonstrates their commitment to not only supporting fossils but to becoming fossils

Are fish fossils on a "microfossil" scale also wanted? Or does the focus lay more on the traditional microfossils?

The Rice Museum of Rocks and Minerals in Hillsboro also has fossils and petrified wood. It's located in a fantastic mid century modern house. Well worth the trip across the river. I'm the current adoptive parent of a fossilized miniature camel skull.
