Fortnite’s account management system sucks… I spent £73 on Fortnite on PlayStation when it was originally launched for the super deluxe founders edition. Later on I returned to it and somehow despite using the same PlayStation account, it was linked to a new Epic games account.

That's very true, I didn't even think about that! Most games don't have Fortnite's longevity, which at least for me, makes classification harder.
Maybe that will change when I inevitably make a GaaS though. I already have the recommended tech stack and a general recipe for success 😉

I've said before that I'm fine with Fortnite's cosmetics since they give you no tactical advantage. But at the same time, they price gouge the hell out of those cosmetics, especially if they're external characters, since they want you to spend more money on V-bucks

The Fortnite bit is so funny. I work with the entire breadth of Fortnite's target audience and... no it's not, they don't mention it at all. It's just a thing. Fortnite is a cultural strip mall, where you wander around looking at stuff you will, for the most part, never ever engage with more deeply.
