#Formatting
I am wondering if it is a formatting issue, if those were originally quotation marks

Fixed! Some combination of pasting the wrong link and VS Code's "helpful" auto-formatting.

absolutely psychotic time formatting

If someone sent me an e-mail with this formatting and phrase structure (I can't even bring myself to call it sentence structure because, well just read it) I would assume they were a paranoid schizophrenic off their meds.

This is the first year since I started publishing my writing that I haven't had something new out.

That's okay, hopefully next year I'll have two. One's almost finished, just needs formatting and the cover done. The other is close to halfway through first draft.

Still, it's weird!

wow, it’s like a real article now (the pre-print formatting is real gnarly atm though).

2/2 Markdown rendering everywhere: lessons, questions, hints and menus are now displayed with MD formatting, making everything easier to read in the REPL.

The built-in Julia Basics course has been adapted to use these new features.
Check it out in action here: youtu.be/aEboVhipEfg

We're live on Twitch! Today i'm working on re-formatting my comic to print off my equipment.
As usual though the chat will pick a character for me to do fanart of, so be there for that, and all the fun! twitch.tv/thegreatshono

The formatting isn't as bad as Planescape Torment's capslock addiction but its use of asterisks to denote three different things depending on context got confusing a few times.

Agree with others about it maybe being a formatting issue, or just a random annoying "Windows doesn't like this for some reason" bug. A workaround could be to download it on a seperate device like a phone and transfer it across manually.

I really want to try to start posting again, but life has been such a rollercoaster.. Even though I haven't been posting my creations, I've still been sewing this whole time, so I have a good bit of cuties to share. Just gotta try to figure out formatting and watermarking for all my photos.

Stop Using Fancy Bullet Points

Those custom bullet points you spent time picking?

They're actually making your resume harder to read.

Stick with standard bullets (•). You'll stand out with CONTENT, not formatting tricks.

Overview: Hacker News debated screenshots of text/code. It's a tug-of-war between preserving visual context (formatting, syntax) vs. practical limits like inability to copy/search. OCR & AI are emerging to mitigate these drawbacks. #TechDebate 1/5

When you finally finish formatting your manuscript only to realize the whole thing is a mix of curly quotes and straight quotes. 😭😭

Back to editing. Whyyyyyy me?

This is the second project I have worked on where someone just dropped some prompts into chat gpt, I recognize the formatting and the vibe so clearly.
No soul.
I have put more work into the construction of this video on the back end than anyone did on the front end.
Shit is DUMB.

- handle unexpected control characters
- handles whitespace as per the spec

Even small short threads felt so tedious because you spent 10 mins formatting it
Like?? What happened to just,,,, writing and replying and calling it a day
I don’t want to sit there holding and italicising punctuation and every other vowel bro

And there was so much PRESSURE. To make your blog look nice and barely readable sometimes. Had to have a fancy theme, fancy edited icons with an overlay, fancy banners with outlines and frames…

Don’t get me STARTED on formatting replies… bold italic every other word , big font small font
