Miss Freckles, a wild Florida box turtle who has lived in my yard for 10 years, is fixing to take a bite of strawberry. She has an amazing spotted carapace, dark brown-black with bright yellow markings in a gorgeous pattern that would remind you of a mandala. Truly, a wild Florida box turtle who has lived in my yard for 12 years, is fixing to eat a strawberry and some watermelon. She has a beautiful dark carapace with subtle yellow markings and a vivid yellow medial stripe.
