Impressed that your kids are still masking too! I teach in the college classroom & I’m the only one masking - FloMask, Aranet & portable HEPA flitter is my classroom standard.

Don’t miss indoor dining - restaurants do suck esp. for vegetarians.

Filter meiner #FloMask gewechselt.

Shout out to the person I saw today in the custom print flomask 💜

I wish there was (still) a way to get to order them with custom prints, but with wearer chosen graphics.

Love my Flomask! When I wear it overseas, so many people ask me where they can get one. In a NZ hospital last week, the staff commented, “wouldn’t it be great if we got these?” And then laughing at the absurdity of the NZ system giving a crap about their medical staff. (They struck the day after.) 😢

I showed my pride this ACE Week with clothes, brooches and mask covers in the colours of the Asexual flag. It's not the most inspiring colour combination, in fact it's a bit 'meh', but while fifty shades of grey does nothing for me, I can definitely get into fifty shades of purple!

Working on the campaign on the flight home, thinking about all the conversations I had with Londoners in this trip. People don’t understand what #LongCovid is - that’s what I learned from meeting people and sharing what I know with them. The root cause of Long Covid is Covid.

I already have one debilitating, incurable disease. I don't want another and fuck only knows what the two together would do.
Luckily, I have a FloMask and I never go anywhere without it.
Most people regard wearing a respirator mask in all public spaces during the ongoing pandemic of Covid-19 as "unreasonable," but I regard wearing a respirator mask as a completely reasonable means of avoiding the irreparable harm that results from every infection of Covid-19.

Treat yo self: COVID edition=new respirator.
If you are tired of going through disposables, I cannot recommend Flomask enough. Great fit (with sizing tips), notch for glasses to sit, and no steamed up lens. Profilters are good for 40 hours and FFP2/N95. Now available in Europe!

Saw my rheumatologist yesterday, and she said the latest strain of COVID is fucking up people's liver function. People get COVID, a few weeks later, their liver enzymes are elevated. She wants me to tell her if I get COVID so she can order lab work afterward. (Thankfully, I wear FloMask everywhere.)
I teach all of my classes in an N95 because my gift from having COVID (pre-vaccine) is an autoimmune disease that destroys my kidney function. COVID gave me kidney failure, which will require a kidney transplant. What's the #1 cause of death (aside from CKD) in patients waiting for dialysis? COVID.
(and i think it is a demand that stems from fear more than a rational assessment of the threat environment)

Thank you for representing! And a great respirator and Flomask in-the-wild shot to give everyone else who masks (and those wondering if they should) hope that other people care, too.

Skipping the flomask for my next rave, gonna show up in a filtered t-rex costume

I found that with disposable masks I often had to hold my jaw in a certain position to keep a good seal, which caused fatigue and headaches. When I switched to FloMask the silicone gasket made such a better seal on my face that I could relax and don't have any pains even after hours of use.

Really satisfied with how pretty this @flomask.bsky.social decoration turned out
October 5, 2025 at 2:20 AM
Trying on a #FloMask! Good seal, and I don't mind that it's even more breathable than my usual. Still has a factory smell, but tbh that's better than my coffee breath 😅

What, something looks weird? Oh, you must mean the green thing in my pocket. That's my kid's frog plushie.

Spending the night at a Gatwick 🇬🇧 hotel before an early flight back to Australia tomorrow. Plugged in my AirFanta Pro and ran it on high for an hour before taking my FloMask off. Keeping it on medium all night, placed between the bed and the door. Airspot indicates CO2 is a terrible 1,300ppm. 🤞

here to hype the flomask!

I will say that I get a better fit with the 3M Aura than I do with the flomask, and I've tried both high and low nose bridge.

I found a masking practice for my primary care and so far the only other place I’ve gone is the cardiologist. But I have been wearing my flomask as it’s just too hard to communicate in my GVS which I still use for running errands.

I’ve basically taken it as a calculated risk.

I'm gonna try a p100 for my coming flight in January, but if it gets too uncomfortable the flomask is my backup for sure. Way more comfortable than my standard disposable kn95s
October 7, 2023 at 1:43 AM
btw I used the FloMask today for the one time I needed to go out, and it was great. I'd say it's like 3x easier to breathe in/more comfortable on my face than my disposable kn95's. I've always worn the n95's anyway, because really they're a mild discomfort at worst, but this is way better.
i set up my FloMask tonight, something I'd been putting off for whatever reason. It's really comfortable to breathe in! And it was also super straightforward to replace a filter on.

Ich hoffe ja die Flomask macht das rennen.
