#Finite
A planet of finite resources. 🎯

People say socialism is unrealistic. I say infinite growth on a finite planet is a fairy tale for adults.

Condemning one half of that equation has no more logic - and is no more deserving of finite House floor time - than condemning defensive linemen because they never score touchdowns.

im poly because love is not a finite resource

It’s actually pretty interesting the extent to which this describes a lot of wellness culture. “I do not want to admit that my body has a naturally finite duration”
I want to think about it in these unhelpful terms because I prefer not thinking about death.

...and I read it.

And cried as I read. Then cried again. Then smiled and felt grateful my own glimpses of the divine in my finite and fallible existence.

Billionaires should not exist.
Trillionaires are de facto criminals
This is earth, finite and impermanent.
We are humans, impermanent and finite.
11 hold more of earths resources than 7 billion people do.
That’s not humanity that’s hoarding.

A nuclear bomb has a finite radius. Software can be everywhere at once.
software engineering has taught me that it's a lot easier to withstand a nuclear attack than a fat-fingered config
The internet was designed to withstand a nuclear attack, and now has difficulty withstanding a fat fingered config.

I coined the term GOON INFLATION about a month ago, and I stand by it. When you have more and more money chasing a fairly finite supply of goons, you're just gonna get goon inflation.
Underrated thing that's been flying under the radar: ICE's hiring spree, by necessity since there are so few others willing and able, has been hiring away local cops, which infuriates the departments by causing manpower problems and is, ironically, removing the worst of the worst from their ranks.
The more local police see ICE assholes as criminals, the better it will be for us.

This is definitely true, but the moment in which reporters can call out the president for calling a woman a "piggie" is not finite.
not that id have expected previous eras of white house press corps to react bravely or with solidarity but aren't a huge proportion of the "reporters" standing there next to her ringers from conservative propaganda outlets?
Being a reporter means sometimes having to do scary things. Every reporter standing there is an invertebrate.

Chat im genuinely curious

What types of scenes or details make you REALLY like a vore scene,,

Finite details like the saliva? Perhaps scentplay? Maybe even softness?

I'm genuinely curious on what activates people's neurons because I wanna draw more stuff that really gets people's gears grinding,,

“The rest of their life” is a perfectly finite, though unknown, period of time, and it’s actually fine to take pills for that time period.

Though with ADHD I imagine many people can quite once they get out of school or retire if they so choose

Infinite growth in a system with fundamentally finite resource is *clearly* the most preferable system to run. :I

If the universe is finite but unbounded, some scientists argue that it's possible that the universe is smaller than the observable universe. Light could circumnavigate the universe, meaning we may be seeing duplicate galaxies at different points in history.

I’m pretty sure anything we get is going to be edited, redacted, massaged and obscured.
A better idea might be to have someone read the Epstein survivor’s list of rapists and abusers into the congressional record. Public and finite, it would be a great start for investigating and prosecuting

And then IF he apologizes to me for (a) Prometheus and (b) making Philip K Dick’s infinite regressions finite, only then will I stop

An Old drawing of #AlphonseElric from #FullmetalAlchemist. While Brotherhood is more Manga-accurate, I still like the OG. It had emotional weight, a melancholy that made tragedy feel deeper, and joy feel earned and finite. BH is faster and more action-focused.
Different flavors but I like both.

Trust is a finite resource. Once an agency starts publishing anti-science ideology to appease political appointees, that trust hits zero. Good luck managing the next pandemic when the agency has voluntarily forfeited its credibility.

It sucks that computational hardware is a finite and difficult to create resource with so much potential for the betterment of humanity, and that’s all being wasted in the currently fashionable tech financial bubble for a product that tells mentally ill teenagers to kill themselves

On a planet with finite resources. In an economic system built on extraction, exploitation. LMAO It’s peak capitalism brain-rot to say while the literal biosphere is collapsing under the weight. “Sure, the house is on fire, but look how fast it’s heating!”

New preprint: "Identifying statistical indicators of temporal asymmetry using a data-driven approach"
arxiv.org/abs/2511.15991

_Can we statistically distinguish the forward- versus reverse-time dynamics of a system from a finite time series?_

But we also use some dwarf selections, especially trees/shrubs, because our land isn’t wild & is finite. Sometimes #NativePlants in this constructed realm that doesn’t match historical ecosystem types means a choice between compromise to 📈 biodiversity & skipping species entirely. (2/2) #gardening 🌱

today i saw human beings spending their precious finite time on earth raking leaves

Needlemouse tends to get too busy to care for his heat cycles. So of course they get worse and has to make it everyone's problem. At least Finite is willing to help.

There are 3 universal truths in this world

1. Life is finite

2. The earth revolves around the sun

3. Never tell VR twitter motion sickness is real, and some people cannot or will not get over it.
