#FibonacciDay 11/23 is coming! Do you know a way to show or explain, like you would to a five-year-old, that this construction (starting from the Vesica Piscis twin circles) is indeed Golden, and so it helps us make Very Good Pentagons? #iTeachMath #MathSky

We celebrated #FibonacciDay with a seminar: ‘The Beauty of Fibonacci Numbers and Applications in Financial Markets’🔢💸

Huge thanks to Associate Professor David M. Munyinyi & Emeritus Professor Ivan Cohen for inspiring us with the fascinating links between #maths & #finance!

Today, 11.23, is #FibonacciDay, named for the famous sequence 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 21, ... where each term sums the previous two. Leonardo Bigollo (1170-1250 CE), nicknamed #Fibonacci, brought the sequence (known in India in 300 BCE) to Europe. #MathSky #MathEd #ITeachMath youtu.be/ahXIMUkSXX0?...

Celebrate Fibonacci Day with knitting patterns based on Fibonacci sequences. In Fibonacci sequences, each number is the sum of the two preceding numbers. That's why 11/23 (1,1,2,3 Get it?) is #FibonacciDay

The first four Fibonacci numbers (1, 1, 2, 3) written in date form (11/23) translate to November 23, or Fibonacci Day! On this day, we celebrate all things Fibonacci, and all things in nature.

Happy #FibonacciDay ! Today's date 11/23 matches the first four digits of the Fibonacci sequence!

Here's a poem in which the numbers of words on each line match the Fibonacci sequence.

Not actually a fan of the Fibonacci sequence (or the golden ratio), but that didn't stop me writing about it once upon a time.

It's Saturday - Happy #FibonacciDay 11.23

#Thanksgiving 🍂is coming up Thursday! Will be scheduling reads on that day for a *half day* in-between cooking, catching up on my shows.

Scheduling #psychic sessions into late evening starting now.

Looking forward to seeing what I may see for you all...

Happy #FibonacciDay! Yep, it’s 11/23, the perfect day to celebrate that mind-blowing sequence where each number is the sum of the previous two—think sunflowers and seashells. Fun fact: Fibonacci didn’t even know he discovered it! French mathematician Édouard Lucas named it later.

Happy #FibonacciDay to those who celebrate!
Today is Fibonacci Day. November 23 if written in MM/DD format recalls the mathematician Leonardo Bonaccio of Pisa (c. 1170 - c. 1240 or 50) aka Fibonacci’s sequence (1,1,2,3…) where each number is the sum of the previous two. 🐡🧪🧮 #histsci He used it to describe rabbit populations, but the sequence
